| There's a priceless wealth of knowledge here, and the mods have tried to make sure that the knowledge base and community grows by using a method of denoting new or inexperienced members. Imagine how many times questions like: "What's that squeaking noise that sounds like a bird trapped under my hood?" "Why does washer fluid spray on my hood when I brake?" "My Z is hesitating, what's going on?" "What's the best turbo to buy?" ...get asked on here. Many times. Let me emphasize that... MANY times. Instead of people getting fed up and saying "That's already been answered, go away" (which would stunt the growth of the community) the mods have used the green "n" so that community will know NOT to rip you a new one when questions are posted that have already been answered at least a dozen times. The "n" is more for us than it is for you. We want you to stick around, and the "n" lets us know that you're new and may need some coaching to get around, which most people here (per my own experience) are more than happy to do. Best Wishes,
